SSQ Domiz First Grade Spanish Slate Grey/Blue Roof Tile 500 x 250mm
Hand-carved from the Cabrera mountains
SSQ's Domiz slate is quarried and split by hand in the Cabrera mountains of North-West Spain. Its rich blue-grey colour and bold texture has made it a popular choice for making stunning roofs all over the world. What?s more, its strikingly similar to slate taken from the now-defunct Welsh quarry at Ffestiniog, making it a popular choice in the roof replacement market.
Domiz slates are a natural Spanish slate from the Cabrera mountains that are hand split to achieve the strongest and best-looking product. First-grade, the gorgeous blue-grey colour and the cold, hard lines of the Domiz slate are very similar to that of Welsh slate from the Ffestiniogg quarry which is now defunct. Specifiers and architects are using Domiz slate in place of the unavailable Welsh slate.
Domiz Spanish slate won?t fade in colour and as such can be installed in the harshest environments and climates. Slates are tested rigorously to not only the BS EN 12326 UK standard but also the NF 228 French standard, known for having the strictest criteria in the world. Domiz standard-grade slates achieve A1-T1-S1 to BS EN 12326 and they have a 75-year guarantee from supplier SSQ. Since their lifespan is expected to last longer than 75 years, Domiz Spanish slate can be considered more sustainable as it can last twice as long as other roofing tiles.
Domiz slates are between 5-7mm thick with a rust-free guarantee that offers property owners an attractive and low-maintenance roof that will continue to look stunning for many years. Use Domiz Spanish slate to give an authentic and sleek finish.
