Cant rails can be used as an alternative timber rail to arris rails in feather edge fencing or can be
used to make your own picket fencing.
 
Cut from sawn softwood and then pressure treated, what makes a cant rail unique is its cant cut
which ensures the water slide down off the timber and does not become a water trap.
 
The cant rail is usually fixed to a square fence post or picket post using galvanised nails.
